Universal Music Canada’s Liberty Village office in Toronto features state-of-the-art recording studios, listening rooms, and event spaces, highlighted by a unique ceiling installation crafted from vintage chair-backs sourced from Toronto’s historic Massey Hall. Designed with acoustical privacy as a priority, every detail—from the mechanical systems to the interconnecting staircase—was meticulously planned.

Pre-construction was critical to ensuring precise mechanical and electrical coordination while seamlessly integrating technical requirements with the building’s timber structure.

This award-winning project, recognized with the 2022 CoreNet REmmy Award for Workplace Excellence in the 20,000–50,000 sf category, showcases innovative office design that balances technical precision, functionality, and aesthetics.
