Colonial House Capital took on the ambitious goal of fitting out their offices in a heritage designated building. The original structure, designated as part of the East Annex Heritage Conservation District in 1994, required a carefully planned buildout to renovate the property while preserving aspects of the building.
mform managed the restoration, adding over 8,000 square feet of new space in a four-storey addition at the rear of the property. The new building, which is connected to the existing two-storey heritage building, was completed in a tight 8-week construction schedule, and included a feature boardroom with curved millwork that complements this boutique space.
The result is a high-end workspace in a pristine setting that helps preserve Toronto’s history.
