The CDW office renovation project required careful planning and was executed over four full floors, approximately 16,000 SF each. Coordination with other tenants & the Landlord (Colliers) in the building was critical. Our team worked closely with CDW’s IT team to deliver its high standards of excellence for IT services.
A variety of open and closed collaboration spaces were utilized to maximize staff engagement. The transition to an open concept design required thoughtful and careful pre-work to prepare all mechanical and electrical services infrastructure to accept spray insulation and paint. The creation of a testing lab to showcase new products to customers meant a high level of details and understanding of CDW’s product suite to inform millwork details. Working over four full floors and timing work with new and existing lease terms, mform created an efficient, 2-phase schedule that minimized the impact to CDW’s staff and customers. With a variety of open and closed collaboration and meeting areas, the trades were scheduled to efficiently work through the floorplate, allowing the client’s AV & IT teams to follow along and commission different work areas in a timely fashion.
